Difficult Times

I know I'm not usually poting twice a day but yesterday's death of Patrick Swayze required a reaction. I have to be honest in my childhood I used to think about Madonna, Michael Jackson and others as our generation icons. Yes U2 is still touring (thank goodness) but when mega stars in their mere 50s are passing away it's heartbreaking. I feel time is ticking away and it helps you remember even the invincible are really not. For each wedding I've been to this year I've attended a funeral. As I'm planning my wedding I can't help but think of that "circle of life" to quote the Lion King. We're getting older each day, don't forget to enjoy it. Don't forget who you care about. And lastly don't forget about God.
