So last week we hit the "less than 1 year" mark to the wedding. That means the deadlines are officially real. Lots happened during this pivotal time. First Cristian had an interview with the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. Not 10 minutes after leaving he got the internship. Shockingly they asked him to start work the next day. How could we turn it down? It was hard to make the financial decision but easy to make the career move. Already we started watching our money and made some fabulous meals at home over the weekend. I made cornmeal crusted tilapia fish tacos and spaghetti squash with turkey kielbasa. Cristian made bison burgers, yup, bison, with an amazing chipotle sauce. And to compliment, of course our favorite, sweet potato fries.
We also went to a wedding expo to collect vendors' business cards and right next door stumbled into the OC market at the fairgrounds. They had everything from papayas to cigars, very cool. I'm also on my Sex and the City stint again and had a mini marathon while cleaning the house.
Off to the bay this weekend for a wedding where I'll be taking notes. Looking forward to seeing some old friends.
